I'm living here in the Philippines and my mum, residing in Saudi Arabia, wanted to buy me an HTC Touch phone (TOUCH PRO or TOUCH Cruise). I was just wondering if I can use it here in PH. I'm thinking that its the same as iPhone. It has its own carrier.

Most phones initially (unless stated otherwise) are locked to the carrier that they came from. If you unlock them, then you could use any SIM from any carrier in the world for them, much like my unlocked iPhone.
