No its a Windows mobile rip off of the iphone! the Tocco is simpler and does NOT suffer from the windows core and its issues.
Nope. It’s certainly in the top ten among the best touchscreen phone but it’s not ” The Best” out there. i think that the iPhone 3G is still at the top.
Now the iPhone 3G isn’t perfect but I think it’s still the best overall.
The Apple iPhone 3G offers fast 3G wireless technology, GPS mapping, support for enterprise features like Microsoft Exchange, and the new App Store. It’s a great phone with crystal clear calling, a widescreen iPod, and a revolutionary Internet device with rich HTML email and a desktop-class web browser.
No it really depends on what you want. Everybody will tell you a different “Best touch screen phone”. But i believe there are a few ahead of the competition worth mentioning:
iPhone/3G
Samsung Instinct
LG Prada
Samsung Omnia
HTC/Touch/Diamond/Pro/Mogul
AT&T Tilt
I’ve never been a fan of the iphone, as soon as it come out it got a lot of attention and thousnds of people just bought it because of the brand, over looking its major defects. Obviously the touch screen was new and amazing however features such as its camera are poor. I think it’s always best when there are major break throughs to wait for the upgrades, that way they have had time to mull over customer feed back and make slight adjustments.
(same reason i haven’t got myself a Nintendo Wii just yet)
With the Omnia, you get a stylish smartphone. The Omnia runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 with a 3.2″ touch screen display and has a built in GPS receiver for SatNav. It has a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, image stabiliser, a bright flash and video recorder which is far better than the iphone’s. Certified support for the DivX video format (a first for a Windows Mobile phone), Bluetooth v2.0, 3G HSDPA mobile broadband connectivity for super fast downloads and a secondary video calling camera are also included. The impressive touch screen makes navigating on the Omnia simple and with 8Gb of on board memory, you won’t be short of things to do!. If you want to take a closer look at the Omnia, just go to or click on the link below.
