Verizon is NOT going to get the iPhone like AT&T did. Once Verizon rolls out LTE any customer will be able to activate and use iPhone on Verizon’s Network because LTE is backward compatible. I personally do not like iPhone but for those who can’t live without it and tired of dropped calls Verizon is the best option.

The new verizon phones that have a sim card are not for use on verizon. It is for use on Vodaphone when you go overseas. Vodaphone and verizon on partners, vodaphone is GSM.

Hum… They have Sim CARD …They have a HSDPA Network (3.5G GSM NETWORK) using 850/1900/2100 MHz …You need a HSPA phone to use the network… An GSM/EDGE phone dont work… If you dont belive me, they have an exclusivity for the Motorola DROID witch is a GSM/EDGE and HSDPA Phone… PS. There will not be a CDMA version of the iPhone it will be a waste of money for Apple

when we say “make an CDMA version” we mean an iPhone without a sim. However, most verizon blackberry’s actually do have Sim Cards. So the iPhone on verizon will probably have a sim card anyway, it just isn’t used the same way they are on GSM.
